When Matilda founded the brand her goal was to create unique and purpose-led products that would stand the test of time. For us, sustainability translates in a large part to well made pieces, responsibly manufactured that can be truly lived with.
As the business and team has grown we have become increasingly aware or our responsibility to try and do better in what is an inherently imperfect industry. At the start of 2023 we set out to review all our business operations under the B Corp framework.
WHAT IS B CORP?
B Corps are companies that meet high standards of social and environmental performance, transparency, and accountability. The B Corp movement wants to create a new economic system which creates positive impact, using business as a force for good.
