Spotlight on a project: Antonius Schimmelbusch
Small but Mighty
Antonius Schimmelbusch
This clever kitchen project by Antonius Schimmelbusch works around a small square footage to create a welcoming yet practical space. From characterful cabinetry to the built-in seating, this weekend we're spotlighting some details from the project that are sure to inspire.

Colour Play
Working with an area of just 53 square metres, the interior designers had to approach the design of the space cleverly.
A built-in seating area works well to maximise the space, providing a cosy nook and precious storage space. We love the colour palette in this area, chosen to counter the greyness of Berlin outside: lemon yellow stools are a real brightener; a green stripe fabric on the bench is a pleasing contrast with the ticking on the roman blinds.
Build in Character
Adding in colour and print to a smaller space can feel tricky, but this project hits the perfect balance. A panel of this green paint on the kitchen shelving and wall adds a splash of colour, with the two-tone style creating a sense of extra space.
Hardware is always a great way of layering in personality to a space; as one of the most used aspects of a kitchen it's so worth investing in. Here, our Bamboo Handles match the cabinetry perfectly while adding a playful feel to the kitchen.
